the Uptown Horns, we got to play "Knock on Wood" with Mr.
Eddie, who also co-wrote "634-5789."
With Jay Siegel, original lead singer of The Tokens ("Lion
Sleeps Tonight") as he was presented with his honorary
doctorate at Kean University's 2003 Commencment, 5.8.03.
Hearing the falsetto intro to "Lion" in the original key is a real thrill!

Dolemite aka Rudy Ray Moore, 1.20.02, after performing with
the undisputed blacksploitation film genius and arguably the
world's foulest-mouthed comedian at BB King's club in NYC.
Howard Tate/Jerry Ragovoy, summer, 2001, at the Village
Underground, NYC after performing with the soul legend
("Get It While You Can," "Ain't Nobody Home," "Stop"). This
was Howard's first show in nearly 30 years!
