Rhythm Dynamics' "Energy in Motion" is written and produced by internationally known recording artist Robert Funk of the Uptown Horns, who has performed and recorded with James Brown, Joe Cocker, B.B.King, The Ohio Players, Howard Tate and The Rolling Stones among many others. (Click here to visit Robert's discography). Energy in Motion is a mosaic of musical styles of cutting edge techno, trance, acid house, hiphop, rock and music from around the world.
Robert's composition and writing credits include music for The Comedy Channel, TNT, The Food Channel (The James Beard Awards), ESPN, RCA, EMI, Virgin Records, HBO, Rhino Records, VHI (Buster's Happy Hour).
Recently, Robert wrote and produced for the music for the fitness and nutrition series, Results Thru Research. He co-produced and arranged music on jazz project featuring artists George Cables, Sonny Fortune, Dave Liebman, Billy Hart, Cecil McBee, Kim Stone (of the Rippingtons) and others. He has been active co-arranging music with the Uptown Horns for groups like Duke and the Drivers. His playing and arranging appears on Fonda Feingold's new cd entitled, BEFORE AND AFTER. The Uptown Horns were in the studio this past summer with the award winning band, COLDPLAY.
