The Uptown Horns Revue is the only world class live band with the best vocalists and hottest rhythm section in New York, a house rockin DJ- plus the world famous Uptown Horns. From R& B, Funk, Motown/Soul, Classic Rock, Latin, and Jazz to atmospheric background music to the most current hits and Dance club grooves, we build our shows around the wishes and needs of our special clients and their special occasions. The Uptown Horns have played and recorded with the biggest names in American music including James Brown, Ray Charles and The Rolling Stones on some of the biggest hits of all time including "Living in America, "Hot, Hot, Hot" and "Love Shack".
Recent performances by The Uptown Horns include : "Come Together", a tribute to John Lennon at Radio City, broadcast on TNT; the Bravo cable special "The Best of Broadway"; the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas; the New Orleans Jazzfest; MSNBC; Conan O'Brien; a tribute to Bob Dylan at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center and they can be heard on new releases by Mike Thorne, Scissor Sisters and the Jazz Explorers. The Uptown Horns will appear November 7, 2007 at the Beacon Theater, NYC at a Dylan Benefit Concert
